Description

British film director Mike Leigh's made-for-tv film, Four Days in July, takes a satirical look at the mundane lives of two couples - one Protestant, the other Catholic - expecting babies as the 12th of July approaches.

Notes

Mike Leigh is an English writer and director of film and theatre. Many of his films are renowned for their gritty "kitchen-sink realism". Amongst his most celebrated works are Nuts In May (1976), Abigail's Party (1977), Meantime (1983), Life Is Sweet (1990), Naked (1993), Secrets & Lies (1996) and Mr. Turner (2014).
