Date: 28/04/2016 13:57

Author of more than 20 books on subjects ranging from the Williamite Wars through to the Second World War, renowned military historian Richard Doherty will be focusing his attention on the Battle of Jutland in a forthcoming illustrated talk at Enniskillen Library.

The Battle of Jutland (31 May to 1 June 1916) is widely regarded as the only significant naval battle of World War One and a pivotal moment in the conflict. Pitting two great fleets against one another, the clash resulted in devasting losses for both the British and German navies and would have momentous repercussions.
