Description

This film was created with footage from UTV's Archive, BBC NI's archive and Channel 4's  Derry Girls. 2023 was the 25th anniversary of the 1998 Good Friday Agreement. This momentous occasion marked the end of the era of violence and strife in Northern Ireland known as the Troubles. Created by the Digital Film Archive in association with Queen's University Belfast to be screened at the Agreement 25 conference, this short film conveys the mood of the media, public and key figures of those heady days.
