The Irish Film Institute and Northern Ireland Screen’s Digital Film Archive present
Sharp Focus – 20th Anniversary Screening - The Stand CInema - Tuesday 12th December - 5:30pm
A programme of short films produced by the Calipo Theatre & Picture Company between 2003 and 2013.
The films were written and directed by established filmmakers working with a range of community and youth groups in Northern Ireland and the Border Counties to give young people their film debuts. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with a selection of the filmmakers.
The films were produced with support from the EU Peace and Reconciliation Programme.
The films were acquired and preserved by the IFI Irish Film Archive with support from the Government of Ireland’s Shared Island Initiative and the Department of the Taoiseach.
