As we mark 25 years of Northern Ireland Screen’s Digital Film Archive, we celebrate its role in preserving and sharing Northern Ireland’s moving-image heritage. Over a quarter of a century, the archive has grown into a resource used by communities, educators, researchers and creatives to explore the people, places and moments captured on film.

Each clip highlights a moment from the collection and is accompanied by a short reflection explaining why it matters, offering multiple perspectives on Northern Ireland’s social, cultural and creative history.
