Meeting weekly on Thursday evenings, 'SHE Safe' is a group within R-City youth organisation based on the Shankill Road area of Belfast, that engages 13 - 14 year old girls in learning, skills building and sharing of solidarity in issues that affect young women and girls. The group have engaged in projects around art, fashion and filmmaking. Working together they are part of a 'SHE' programmes at R-City that aim to educate and encourage young women and campaign against important issues such as period poverty and violence against women and girls.
