In the 1960s, as teenagers and pop music became cultural phenomenon, lots of bands, TV and movie personalities visited Northern Ireland. Bands and singers tended to tour together, making for some amazing line-ups at concerts. And lots of stars came to support various charity events, which is how we come to see Alan Wicker carrying a bag of spuds.
