Description

A band leads marchers out of Coalisland on a Civil Rights march to Dungannon. As the march arrived in Dungannon, police prevent it from entering the centre of Dungannon and directed the marchers to take a different route. A crowd of 1000 loyalists had gathered on the other side of the barrier. Gerry Fitt is present and gives a speech. Trade Unionist Betty Sinclair requests a minute’s silence.

There are scuffles but the crowd did disperse and there were no arrests or injuries.
