Description

Tennis match in front of a fine ivy clad house, probably Coolgreany in Fortwilliam Park, home of John Dermot Campbell's parents. The influence of Lady Edith Londonderry is visible in the exuberant garden design. Tennis players display some graceful and skillful moves, especially considering that no panes of glass appear to have been broken in the process. Women players wear white tennis dresses and visor and cloche hats. The host, John Dermot Campbell, is behind the camera.

The film was probably shot by John Dermot Campbell and it is part of the Campbell Family Collection.
