Description

A Rhodesian family have returned to Portstewart to celebrate the Christening of their baby girl. Mr and Mrs Grubb have come back to Mrs Grubb’s family for the event.

At this moment, Rhodesia was under sanction by the UK, the Commonwealth and the United Nations, following the Unilateral Declaration of Independence in November 1965. In this, Rhodesia declared itself a sovereign state and no longer a UK territory.
