This six-part-series, narrated by Raymond Maxwell, looks back at Ireland's contribution to the film industry and envisions how it might look in the future. 

The question posed in this episode is "has Ireland made a major contribution to the cinema?". The answer of course depends on who you are speaking to, with contributor Liam O'Leary believing that it's "influence on world cinema was vast", however another contributor Dan O'Herlihy, thinks that it has not made a personal contribution, with many false starts occurring.

John Ford, one of Hollywood's greats, is spoken about by several who worked with him. Ford was an Irish-American who portrayed Ireland in a romantic and idealistic light, with Harry Carey Jr, describing him as "the most unique person" he has ever met. We also meet producer, William MacQuitty, who made the film A Night to Remember, based on the Titanic tragedy, a personal story to him as he grew up in Belfast, where it was made and even stepped on board the Titanic during a trial run.
