Description

Ulster’s reputation on the global stage was built on the success and innovation of its booming textiles industry. From the early beginnings of domestic linen in the late 1600s to the rapid expansion and innovation of the textiles industry in the 1800s. Hosted by broadcaster and journalist Claire McCollum, A Stitch Through Time sees four up-and-coming fashion designers compete each week to complete technical and design-led challenges inspired by Ulster’s rich textiles heritage - and its legacy today.
