Description

A party of twenty traditional musicians take part in an exchange visit to Estonia.

Arriving first in Moscow, the musicians will travel onwards to Estonia and spend a week bringing Irish music and culture to a place that was, at the time, part of the Soviet Union.

Conor O'Clery, Soviet Correspondent for The Irish Times, provides some insights into life in the Soviet Union.

Notes

Good views of Moscow, of Red Square, the Kremlin, St Basil's Cathedral and the exterior of Lenin's mausoleum.
