Adrian Logan reports for Good Evening Ulster on the Tyrone
GAA side ahead of their All-Ireland semi-final against Galway. At this stage,
Ulster teams had been on a run of prolonged poor form with no side from Ulster
advancing from the semi-final stage, where the four provincial champions met,
since 1977. Tyrone themselves had never been beyond the semi-final to head to
Croke Park to play for the famous trophy. However, there was a buzz that this
might be their year when they were paired up with a Galway side who seemed very
beatable.
Adrian
talks to some of the players about their chances and discusses the famous team
from the 1950s, who ultimately fell short of All-Ireland glory.
