An unidentified group of people go on a walking expedition of the Mourne Mountains in Co Down. They are staying at a youth hostel possibly near Spelga.They cross the Trassey River and in the film we can see Hare’s Gap, Beragh, Meelmore and Meelbeg. There are also views of the surrounding countryside, including Murlough Bay.
The Mourne Mountains are the highest and most dramatic
mountain range in Northern Ireland, its summits crowned by granite tors. The
mountains themselves are criss-crossed by an unrivalled network of paths and
tracks.

encountered within such a confined geographical area.
