Fr Michael Collins is a social historian, filmmaker and photographer, as well as being a popular Priest in the parishes he has served over the years.
In this conversation with Dr Liam Campbell, Fr Collins discusses his life through photography and film, and especially his work with Derry filmmaker Terence McDonald. Between them, the two created some of the most important films of social history in Northern Ireland.
The film received its first screening at Learmount Community Centre and thanks must be given to the people of Park and to Caroline Lynch in particular for their enthusiasm in creating this film.
Filmed by Michael MacBroom and produced by Brónagh McAtasney.
