Description

A film by Samuel Bracegirdle, showing the commemoration of the Larne Gun-Running fifty years on, in April 1964. Samuel films Terence O'Neill, the Prime Minister of Northern Ireland, giving a speech, and the lamp that guided the gun-running ship, the Clyde Valley, into Larne.

The film also includes the Clyde Valley returning to Larne in December, 1968. The ship was scrapped in 1974 after an unsuccessful attempt at Preserving it.
