As part of the BFI's Coast and Sea project, Malojian's Stevie Scullion worked with filmmaker Colm Laverty on a series of audio-visual collaborations that creatively repurpose content from Northern Ireland Screen's Digital Film Archive.
The result was a series of live performances and inspired music videos - one for each song on the album, Let Your Weirdness Carry You Home.
Propelled by licks of gnarly guitar, chiming bells and the propulsive drumming of the guesting Joey Waronker - R.E.M., Atoms For Peace - 'Battery' is a forward-thrusting, jet-heeled rocker. The video, rather incongruously but very enjoyably, is built around a 1976 RUC recruitment video, Policeday.
