Description

William Crawley explores the legacy of Ulster-Scots men and women who emigrated and set up lives in Australia.

Speaking to experts and descendants, he tells the story of one of the founders of Australian democracy and son of a Portadown highwayman, and uncovers the tale of a thousand Ulster girls sent to Australia from workhouses during the Famine.
