On the Glen Road in Belfast, a horse-drawn cart brings scrap metal to the crusher, which we see in operation. Sad to see a beautiful old car destroyed by the huge machine.
The scrapyard featured is Eastwood's on Kennedy Way. If you look closely you can see a Royal Navy airplane hanging from a crane. This plane was lifted by Eastwoods from the Bog Meadown and hung in the yard for six months. You can see it being brought up the Falls Road in the film linked below.
