Student Eamonn McCann, wearing a CND badge, is interviewed by Jimmy Robinson, after he was expelled from Queen’s University. He had been found guilty of criminal action. Although McCann himself has said he was expelled for “alcoholic rascality”, in stealing wine after a dinner, he felt it was his involvement in CND and various civil rights protests that rankled the establishment in Queen’s. At Queen’s, he had joined the Labour group there and started on a path of radical policial activity that continues today.
