Description

These rushes are what exists in the UTV archives for an advert for the British Enkalon textiles plant in the town of Antrim. The company would eventually close in 1982 and led a troubled existence through much of the 1970s. However, at the time of this advert it was experiencing a boom which was good news for the area and the thousands it employed. Note the close-up in the footage of a pay envelope being opened with a bulging wad of notes inside!
