Description

This UTV production of the 1960s was quite an unusual venture which produced stirring and dramatic results. Footage of man's attempts to master the sea, through storm and tribulation, is combined with passages from the Bible, lines from famous hymns and poetry from Alfred Lord Tennyson. It is brought together through the skilled narration of the great Northern Irish actor Harold Goldblatt and choirs to produce a landmark study for both those of faith or those curious about our struggle for dominion over the waves.
