Description

Footage for the UTV news of milk being delivered to squatters and of mothers and young children taking part in a protest outside the Housing Trust for re-housing for the Campbell family. The Campbells had suffered a fire at their house in Colin Street. They had refused an offer of rehousing in Greenisland as too distant to a hospital with one of the Campbell children suffering from epilepsy. They had then occupied a partially completed house in the Cullingtree Road development to put pressure on the Trust for more suitable rehousing.
