This episode of Festival Focus is from the 27th Belfast Festival.
Showcasing the popular Sikulu African Tribal Dance Group, the footage gives a sneak peak during the dress rehearsals at the Grand Opera House, Belfast. Kate Smith then interviews Sam, part of the management of the company, along with a dancer. They give an insight into the shows plot, which is centred around a young man who leaves his homeland in search of his father, who has been taken as a political prisoner in South Africa. Though it is not "an aggressive show" it is symbolic of the struggles of South African Apartheid.
