Description

Ulster Unionist Assembly member Frank Millar speaks to Norman Stockton in this report for Good Evening Ulster on the subject of independence. At the time there was growing concern that Unionist representatives were contemplating a unilateral declaration of independence. Millar admits that he has previously been against the concept of independence but stresses that if the only option for Northern Ireland within the United Kingdom is to continue with the Anglo-Irish Agreement, then he is prepared to re-examine Northern Ireland's relationship with the nations of the British Isles.
