Description

Footage of Freddie Trueman playing cricket at the Mall in Armagh. Trueman was at this point one of the most celebrated English cricketers of all-time, and this was the year in which he became the first bowler in Test match history to take 300 wickets. He was appearing in a President's XI v Visitor's XI match which coincided with the opening of a new pavilion on the famous sports site.
