Description

An eight part environmental series, aiming to make learning about ways we can help the planet less "depressing". Presented by Stephen Fulton, Shauna Hawthorne, Pat O'Mahony and Gary Rimmer, we learn the tips and tricks needed to make the world a greener place.

This episode looks at how the worlds natural resources - such as rainforests - are being destroyed, both for paper and for cattle. It also tackles the incredible damage CFC's are doing the ozone layer and the rise in air pollution due to the use of fossil fuels.

However, steps can be take as pupils from Little Flowers Girl School show us, such as insulating and recycling. It's not all "doom and gloom" either in the programme with the presenters recreating the iconic Levi's Laundrette advert, but this time, it's to make a point of being mindful on what you're using to wash your clothes with.

Special messages from Wendy James, Jeremy Irons and Jacqui Gordon Lawerence tell us what they are doing to contribute to the effort.
