The members of the Express Yourself Café wish Belfast’s famous Black Box Happy Birthday!

Opened in 2006, the Black Box has become a Belfast institution. It’s a space where artists, playwrights, musicians, or anyone who has anything to say can host events or showcase their work. The venue’s goal is to allow everyone the opportunity to experience, enjoy and engage with the arts. The Black Box hosts the Express Yourself Café, as well as many other community groups. It also acts as an incubator for emerging artists, curators and artists.
