Description

Harry Cavan speaks to Ernie Strathdee about his sudden resignation from the post of Chairman of the Senior Clubs Committee. He resigned in protest at the abandoning of a game between Ards and Coleraine against the decision of the referee. The game had been stopped due to very cold weather. It was an unusual situation because Harry Cavan was also President of the IFA at the time, a post he held between 1958 and 1994.
