Philip Wood and David Wilson explore the garden of Bob Devereux in County Tyrone.
Despite being on a difficult site, over the past five years Bob and his wife have developed their garden successfully, showing a great deal of skill to over come the prevailing problems. Bob chats to David about how despite enjoying his garden he did not want to be "a garden slave" and ultimately wanted the garden to look well but with very little work involved.
However, branching out of his comfort zone, David is about to embark in something more adventurous and has plans to utilise land in front of the house to grow exotic plants. Here, both David and Bob look over a sketch drawn earlier in the day before beginning to get to work! Philip is also involved, as he demonstrates how to properly prune a plum tree and gives praise over Bob's layered ponds.
