Philip Wood and David Wilson explore the garden of John and Bernadette O'Hagan in Little Bridge, County Londonderry.
Bernadette has produced a "very colourful display in her cheerful three quarter an acre garden". This interest in gardening, for her, goes way back to her childhood with some of the plants that she grew then "I still have now", one of these flowers, the Viola Cornuta, is one which she has had for a long time.Even with this love of gardening, Bernadette, adopts a laid back approach stating that "if you don't like it, pull it".
What truly though, has made this garden such a used space, is due to how the planning and planting of it "was a family venture" with everyone getting involved.
