Description

A film by Samuel Bracegirdle, showing Reverend Ian Paisley on his way to court in 1963. He leaves from the Ravenhill Presbyterian Church, and walks into town with supporters, holding banners and flags. He speaks and is cheered on by his supporters. 

Notes

Samuel Bracegirdle was an amateur filmmaker from Belfast, his work dates from the 1950s to the 1970s. Many of his films show his home life and holidays with family and friends. He also took an interest in local history and Unionist heritage.
