Description

Sadly this film has lost its soundtrack over the years but it’s possible to imagine something jazz-tinged to match the visuals of Tommy James walking the dark night streets of Belfast against the illumination of shop signs. These opening titles were for one of many Tommy James series during the 1960s on UTV. An Englishman who had taken up residence in Northern Ireland, he was sone of the early stars of the channel, especially famous for Teatime with Tommy, an evening request show where he played piano and invited guests to sing what viewers asked him to. Other series included Tommy’s Toyshop, Touring with Tommy and this one, In Town with Tommy.
