Description

At RAF Gatow in West Berlin, Inniskillings regiment troops arrive to serve their tour of duty. Families arrive too for their stay in Germany.  

This Irish infantry unit was established in 1881. Recruiting in Ulster, it existed until 1968, when it was merged into The Royal Irish Rangers.
