Description

This UTV interview with the British Home Secretary Rab Butler followed his meeting with the Nationalist Party opposition in Northern Ireland, which was considered an unusual move at the time. Butler was a titan of the Conservative Party in this era, having previously held the posts of Chancellor and party chairman and was at one stage tipped as a future Prime Minister in succession to Harold Macmillan.
