Description

This interview with Sir George Clarke, the Grand Master of the Orange Lodge, centred around the decision of the lodge to send a letter to Senator James Lennon. The Senator was a long-standing member of the Northern Ireland’s upper chamber, the Senate, and was also Clarke’s equivalent in the Ancient Order of Hibernians. At this time there was an effort to engage in what became known as Orange/Green Talks in order to improve relations.
