Description

Irish Boy: The Story of Sean is a short educational film about life on the farm in the Southwest of Ireland. Sean is a young, carefree boy who leads a happy life on his parent’s farm. But his brother Kevin wants for more in life. Kevin hopes to leave the farm and forge a life for himself in the big city. His father wants him to stay home and help with the dairy farm.

This film was produced by the Encyclopaedia Britannica Educational Corporation for use in schools. The film contrasts traditional views of rural Ireland with modern industries and lifestyles, as well as communicate a short story about familial duty.
