Description

A sneak peak behind the scenes of a new Irish dancing VHS, which will teach you how to do the treble jig and other movements from the comfort of your own home!

Seamus, the instructor, chats about the resurgence of popularity for Irish dancing and how it is definitely something which you can learn through a tape - with the right instructor. Donna, who came up with the concept, discusses how the idea came about and wanting to appeal to the American market. An interview at the end with two male dancers, gives a glimpse into the gender stereotypes that face boys when they first begin learning to Irish dance.
