Description

The celebrated presenter of the 1950s and 1960s, James Boyce, who had a career on both BBC Northern Ireland and Ulster Television, travels to Co Kerry for this extended report. There he visits the area of Killorglin for the annual Puck Fair, interviewing the people of the town about the great tradition with its ‘King Puck’ mountain goat presiding over the events.

The programme this film was shot for is now lost, but this set of rushes give a good overview of both the festival and Boyce’s popular presenting style.
