James Young (1918-1974) was a Northern Irish comedian who achieved local celebrity for his performances on stage and screen. Recordings of Young performing as characters such as 'Orange Lil', 'Cherryvalley Lady', and 'Derek the Window Cleaner' proved immensely popular and sold almost a quarter of a million units.
