Description

From Jenny Bristow's own home, explore recipes from many different cultures and "the best produce from around the world". These dishes have been chosen for their versatility and they are in tune with our modern day way of life.

This episode is all about Italian food, which has influenced the Northern Irish consumer in a massive way and it's "not just their produce that we've taken into our hearts, its their way of cooking and doing things". First up, is the much loved pizza, using soda bread flower and olive oil to create the dough, you then lightly fry all the chosen toppings to intensify the flavours, add them to your base before adding the mozzarella cheese. Whilst the pizza is cooking, Jenny suggests whipping up a salad with a roasted red pepper dressing!

Other favourites featured include, ice-cream with a coffee sauce and a peach pie accompanied with an amaretto sauce.
