Description

From Jenny Bristow's own home, explore recipes from many different cultures and "the best produce from around the world". These dishes have been chosen for their versatility and they are in tune with our modern day way of life.

This episode is all about American food, and though your mind mind might immediately go to its famous fast food, there's much more to it than that. First up, is a hearty chicken and smoked ham gumbo, much like our stew everything can be cooked in the one pot, however, there are different stages to cooking this dish but the end result is worth it!

Other favourites featured include, roasted ham, a carrot cake with lots of other influences, chowder and some mouthwatering waffles served with ice-cream and a blueberry sauce.
