From Jenny Bristow's own home, explore recipes from many different cultures and "the best produce from around the world". These dishes have been chosen for their versatility and they are in tune with our modern day way of life.
This episode is all about French food, famed for choosing the "best produce, cooking with devotion" and "maybe a clove of garlic or a dash of wine". Special dishes prepared in the programme include a variation of a stew but with many types of meat, though the duck is left out for practicality for the average consumer which Jenny calls "good country cooking, from whichever country".
A flan is next to be made - however, be careful not to beat the eggs too much otherwise your flan may taste of scrambled eggs! - this meal can also be adapted for the vegetarians out there, just use soya milk and leave out the bacon. To finish, a mouthwatering pear tart is prepared, with pears with extra sweetness chosen for the pastry!
