Description

Lesser Spotted Ulster is an ongoing series exploring the stories, people and geography of less-visited areas of Ulster, presented by Joe Mahon. This episode visits Galloon in Co Fermanagh. An area of natural beauty, Galloon is also home to Crum Castle, the ancestral home of the Earls of Erne. Joe meets local historians and people who now work for the National Trust to maintain the beauty of Crum Estate. Joe goes out on Lough Erne and finds out about the local bat population. Finally Joe meets a local cattle smuggler!
