Making mention of early Christians in the area, Mahon tells the viewer about Saint Faber, who allegedly introduced Christianity into the area and is the patron saint of the Sacred Heart Church. In Saint Faber bullán church and graveyard, Eileen McGourty, one of the founder members of Boho Heritage Organisation, discusses how the legend of the Saint is taught in the school curriculum. Sean Magee shows us a large boulder which has cup and ring designs - believed to represent a map of the night sky.
In an interview with Richard Watson there is a discussion on the Pollnagollum caves. Mahon is shown the network of caves that make up "The Hole of the Doves". Here, people take turn to move rocks away from a wall which is believed to connect to another unexplored cave. Interview with Brian McKenzie, who discusses his quaint pub, the Linnet Inn, with its traditional thatched roof. Interview with Victor McManus, Sillees River. There are also discussions on managing the land and local flora and fauna, and on wetland animals and plants, including wild mint.
