Description

Three quarters of Northern Ireland's deaf population reported that they had problems when dealing with hearing people in everyday situations. These problems could occur in the workplace, or while doing everyday activities.

Deaf awareness activist John Carberry discusses the problems people may encounter. Carberry has created a deaf awareness course to help hearing people communicate more effectively with deaf people and those experiencing hearing loss.
