Charles Witherspoon reports from Springtown Camp outside Derry. The Springtown Camp was notorious for the terrible conditions the families there lived in. One hundred families have been living here, some since the US troops moved out after World War 2. He talks to some of the occupants about living there and how they are being pushed from pillar to post in trying to find decent housing.
Charles also talks to Mr Murphy, the Housing Manager of Derry Corporation. He feels the matter will have to be settled in court as the authorities are failing to sort things out for these families.
