Description

Stephen Atkinson is back with new suggestions for craft work. This time he looks at how to make small boxes. Starting with simple boxes, a jewel box or a box for miscellaneous items, Stephen moves on to more complicated ones. Throughout the programme, viewers are introduced to a range of tools and techniques and are offered some useful tips for craft making at home. Designed to stimulate your imagination and encourage your creativity, Make It Pay is a programme for all those who would like to make their hobby pay.

Today’s interviewee is Alan Mitchell, an editor of a specialist craft magazine called Practical Woodworking. Meeting at a practical woodworking exhibition in London, Alan talks about new trends in woodworking and offers advice on how to go about making craft and selling it.
