Description

      This series of Make It Pay focuses on working with wood. The new format of the programme means we also get to meet a variety of interesting craft makers outside the studio. 

 

Getting started with the first craft, Stephen shows takes us step by step through process of making a Windsor chair. Throughout the programme, viewers are introduced to a range of tools and techniques and are offered some useful tips for craft making at home. Designed to stimulate your imagination and encourage your creativity, Make It Pay is a programme for all those who would like to make their hobby pay.

Out of the studio, Stephen meets Jack Hill, a country chair maker from Sussex, at a woodworking exhibition held in London. Jack talks about his chair making work as well as teaching others how to make them.
